Greetings in the blessed name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

Thank God for succouring you in your ministry in Australia despite your going without medication and for the safety He granted to you in your journeys. I would also like to give thanks to God for the generosity of the mother church in sacrificing much for our coming to attend Gethsemane’s Silver Jubilee and making our stay convenient and comfortable. I praise God also for the much encouragement and hospitality we have received from God’s people. Many have sacrificed to encourage us and to minister to our needs. May the gracious Lord bless all Gethsemaneans.

Personally, I was refreshed spiritually through the ministry of the Word and through sharing with likeminded brethren during our stay. It rejuvenated me, helping me to be more earnest in working in God’s vineyard in season and out of season. The testimonies of the brethren printed in the Silver Jubilee magazine have done much to strengthen me. Once again, we praise God for 25 trying and yet fruitful years of ministry given to the mother church. May the gracious Lord multiply what we see now in the days to come.

As Pr Engida and I made our way back to Addis, there were uncertainties concerning the visa requirement of the government of Egypt during our long transit in Cairo. After considering many options and careful deliberation, Elder Mah wisely encouraged us to trust God and move on with the arrangement which caters to any need arising from the rearrangement of our flight. It was a trying moment as we did not know what to expect in Cairo. Though the officials of Singapore Airlines promised to make arrangement whereby their staff in Cairo would attend to us, they did not show up. But, the faithful God came to our help and everything went smoothly. We praise God

for the prayers of all the brethren for our safety. Now, we have settled down and gone on with God’s work.

This morning, Sister Diana called to inform me that the leaders of the mother church have decided that the extra money given to us at the airport to cover any expenses arising from the rescheduling of our flight as a love gift. This is going another extra mile. Actually, I suggested that the amount be debited from next month’s support. May the gracious Lord richly bless Gethsemane for all these works of kindness towards God’s servants.

Greetings!

Praise God for His grace and mercies upon us. We arrived safely last Wednesday morning from Singapore bringing along with us God’s manifold blessings during our time there with you and the rest of our brethren at the mother church. Again, I want to thank you for giving us an opportunity to attend the mother church’s 25th anniversary celebration. I thank the Lord also for the hospitality, love and care of our brethren there.

I praise God also for the opportunity to minister God’s Word at TGCM and also in the Tuesday night prayer meeting. In addition, thank God for the time to visit FEBC and share God’s Word in their Monday morning Chapel Hour.

Last Sunday, we had a well-attended worship service which included a couple from Singapore. Rev Wee Eng Moh mentioned about them during the Thanksgiving Dinner and we are glad that they have come to our service. Their names are: Richard Ong (Malaysian national) and his wife, Diane (Filipino), and their child’s name, also Richard. The husband sends his regards to you.

I praise and thank God for the opportunity and privilege to attend the 25th anniversary of Gethsemane B-P Church, Singapore. Thank you Pastor for inviting us. It was indeed a joyous occasion to celebrate how the Lord blessed the Church for 25 years. The gathering commemorates God’s work of salvation unto His people and faithfulness unto the church. I thank God for His faithfulness and mercies upon you, Pastor, and upon all the faithful labourers in the church. I pray that all the labourers may continue to work together in unity, peace, harmony and in His grace as we serve God. May God’s favour and blessings continue to be upon Gethsemane and her members. May God’s love, peace, unity, harmony and faith continue to dwell and reign in Gethsemane.

I would also like to thank and praise God for all the brethren in the mother church for the blessed and fruitful fellowship I had with them. I praise and thank the Lord for the Gethsemane Care Ministry who helped us in many ways during our stay in Singapore and for the rest of the brethren for their warm hospitality and support. I am very much encouraged and blessed by their lives.

“Praise ye the LORD. Praise God in his sanctuary: praise him in the firmament of his power. Praise him for his mighty acts: praise him according to his excellent greatness. Praise him with the sound of the trumpet: praise him with the psaltery and harp. Praise him with the timbrel and dance: praise him with stringed instruments and organs. Praise him upon the loud cymbals: praise him upon the high sounding cymbals. Let every thing that hath breath praise the LORD. Praise ye the LORD” (Psalm 150:1-6).

To God be the glory!

Greetings in the precious name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

I trust that you, Sis Caroline, and Sis Ruth had a fruitful ministry in Australia.

Pastor, I want to thank you for giving me an opportunity to come once again to Singapore and be with you all, especially, during Gethsemane’s 25th anniversary. My visit to Singapore was really a refreshing experience for me, and I count the opportunity to attend the Silver Jubilee Celebration as a great privilege in my life.

I was blessed spiritually, emotionally and financially. I want to thank all the Gethsemaneans for their selfless and sacrificial support towards me. I do remember all of you in my prayers. Please convey my regards to all of them.

With much gratitude and prayer.

Hallelujah!
