Pastor, Preachers, Elders and Deacons

Our pastor is Rev Prabhudas Koshy. He is married to Carolyn and has three children, Cornelius, Andronicus and Dorcas. Pastor Koshy holds Bachelor of Theology (BTh), Master of Divinity (MDiv), Master of Theology (ThM) and Doctor of Theology (ThD) from the Far Eastern Bible College, Singapore. He has been serving in Gethsemane BPC as a Preacher of the Word since December 1991. He lectures at FEBC and serves as the Dean of Students. In 2000, he started the Bible Witness magazine and has been its editor. He speaks regularly in several sister churches.

Our Elders

Elder Mah Chin Kwang

Elder Mah Chin Kwang is married to Lean Choo and has two children, Melissa and Matthew (Melissa serves the Lord full-time in the Bible Witness Media Ministry of the church). Elder Mah has been in the leadership of Gethsemane BPC from its inception in 1987. He conducts the Catechism classes for new believers; teaches in the Seniors' Ministry, and leads the Gethsemane Encouragers' Ministry. He occasionally assists Pastor in preaching during Worship Service and Prayer Meeting.

Elder Alan Choy

Elder Alan Choy is married to Luan Kheng and has three children, Eunice, Jenice and Amoz. After serving the church as a deacon for 6 years, he was elected and ordained to be an elder of Gethsemane in 2005. He serves as the advisor to the Gethsemane Youth Fellowship and Choir, and teaches the Catechism classes. He occasionally assists Pastor in preaching during Worship Service and Prayer Meeting. Elder Choy also serves as the treasurer of the church.

Our Deacons

Dn Arvind Pawa

Dn Arvind Pawa is married to Mong Jee and has two children, Chloe and Josias. He has been serving the Lord in the leadership of Gethsemane BPC since its inception. He leads the Gethsemane Evangelism Outreach, which conducts door-to-door evangelism, distributes Gospel tracts and organises Gospel rallies, etc. He teaches Catechism classes, New Believers' Bible Study and in Lions Home ministry to the elders. Dn Pawa also serves as the assistant clerk of Session of the church.

Dn Daniel Lim

Dn Daniel Lim is married to Roscelle, and they have two children, Mehetabel and Jesimiel. Dn Lim has obtained Diploma in Theology from FEBC; and was appointed as a preacher in the Chinese Service of Gethsemane BPC in 2005. He ministers in the Seniors' Ministry on Thursdays and also serves as a counsellor in The Gethsemane Care Ministry.

Dn Lok Kwok Wah

Dn Lok Kwok Wah is married to Jenny, and they have three children, Qian Hui, Qian Yi and Qian Ning. Dn Lok joined the Bible Witness Media Ministry as a full-time worker in 2001. He faithfully labours in BWMM, and helps out in the day-to-day matters of the church in the church office. He leads the Ushers’ Ministry and also serves as the assistant treasurer of the church.

Dn Kelvin Lim

Dn Kelvin Lim is married to Jasmine, and they have three children, Joash, Jorim and Joses. He has obtained a Bachelor of Theology from the Far Eastern Bible College, and was appointed as pastoral assistant in the Gethsemane Children’s Ministry in 2008. He preaches at The Gethsemane Care Ministry on Wednesday mornings, and takes lead at the prayer meeting on Friday mornings in the Church Resource Centre.

Dn Francis Lee

Dn Francis Lee is married to Stephanie, and they have four children, Sarah, Michelle, Samuel and Moses. He has attended FEBC as a part-time student and graduated with Certificate of Religious Knowledge in 2008, and Certificate of Biblical Studies in 2010. He serves as a leader of Gethsemane Adults’ Fellowship. He also serves as the clerk of Session of the church.

Our Preachers

Pr Dennis Capongcol Kabingue

Pr Dennis Capongcol Kabingue is married to Daryl, and they have three children, Duaine, David and Deuel. He has obtained Master of Theology from Far Eastern Bible College. After his graduation in 2008, he was appointed as a preacher in the Filipino Service of Gethsemane BPC and the choirmaster of the Voices of Gethsemane (i.e. church choir).

Pr Jeremiah Sim Joo Lian

Pr Jeremiah Sim Joo Lian is married to Gina. He has obtained a Bachelor of Theology from Far Eastern Bible College, and was appointed as a pastoral assistant in the Gethsemane Seniors’ Ministry in 2010. He further leads in the Lions Home Ministry in preaching the Gospel to them every Sunday. He also preaches in The Gethsemane Care Ministry every Friday. Every Tuesday, he visits Changi Prison to preach the Gospel.
